control over the Inspectors of brothels, these persons at the present moment form part of the staff of the Look Hospital (see Blue Book) and as such would be under the orders of the Surgeon

the Look Hospital. Practically however since the present

Registrar General assumed office

they

have been working under his orders, and I think this plan is more convenient than placing them under the control

either of the Surgeon of the Lock

Hospital

Hospital or of the Deputy Superintendent

of Polici.
